Birth control

Management of abnormal Pap smears
If you have an abnormal Pap smear Dr. Prewitt will help determine additional tests and/or treatments you may require. A colposcopy may be used to find abnormal cells on your cervix. One potential treatment for abnormal cervical cells is LEEP, or loop electrosurgical excision procedure, which cuts away abnormal tissue using an electrified wire loop.
